The system does not use freon and save energy; it is with a small amount of maintenance and repair because there are no motion parts, so it can be used for a longtime. Compared with the traditional ammonia compressor refrigeration system, the advantages of DY refrigeration system are so clear: The general investment will reduce more than 1/3.
At present cold storage consumes
a large energy while the DY Cold Storage consumes much less.
Cold storage at present is with serious wear and tear, with frequent maintenance
and repair, but that required by DY Cold Storage is far more less. Because
of the fact that currently large quantity of ammonia compressor refrigeration
has been adopted by the cold storage while the physic change of ammonia is
mainly through mechanical motion, but DY Cold Storage is by way of heating
to achieve the aim; the former possesses motion parts while the latter none.

Situation of cold storage at present: In the trade of food, the compressor refrigeration has been adopted (mostly ammonia compressor refrigerator) for keeping the foodstuffs frozen, stored and in fresh states. For the ammonia compressor refrigerator used in cold storage of 500T, it need 5-6T liquid ammonia. When the ammonia compressor refrigerator under the condition that the whole unit does not work, it will have 5-6T liquid ammonia deposited, this will offer a hidden point of risk with the presence of liquid ammonia under pressure. Currently large amount of maintenance and repair is required by the ammonia compressor, and it has legal system of maintenance and repair, therefore the cost is so high. The refrigeration compressor depends on the cylinder, gas valve and the to-and-from motion of the piston to complete the absorption of the working substance and steam with the procedures of compression and expulsion. Therefore, many of the breakable parts inside the machine need frequent clearing and replacement. |
DY Cold Storage DY Refrigeration achieves the aim of refrigeration by heating, and it has no motion parts. These thoroughly have a result that the equipment of ammonia compression refrigeration is much more complex than that of DY refrigeration. Though DY refrigeration also belongs to the type of compressor, and its operational pressure is about 10kg/cm2, the equipment itself has increased its security, for the heating media used is water and saturated steam and ammonia highly solvable in water. It is especially worthwhile to be mentioned here, when the whole DY system stops performing, there is no existence of liquid ammonia in the system, and pressure in the system is zero, so there is no such problem concerning safety. DY generator needs no maintenance and repair for ten years because there are no motion parts. The main engine of the ammonia compressor refrigerator could never equal this. |
